Hello and happy Monday!! I can say that this week because here in the States it is a short work week for us with a holiday on Friday in honor of the July 4th Independence Day!! Woo hoo for family gatherings, BBQ’s, fireworks, and a celebration of patriotism!!
Today’s card was inspired by the lovely layout sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches. I love a nice clean layout!
I was inspired by the size of the focal point to pull out a long retired but still beautiful flower stamp called Boutique Blossom. It was sold as a single stamp, I must confess to never having inked it up before 🙁
I fell in love with this beautiful pattern paper from the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Pack by Stampin’ Up! and thought it would set off a Calypso Coral blossom beautifully. Just a bit of basic black for contrast and one little bitty bloom finish the card off perfectly.
I did spend a bit of time fussy cutting the bloom out, but it was well worth the effort!
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I love to hear your comments as always, and I hope you safe travels and safe celebrations for you and your loved ones over this long holiday weekend!
Wishing you joy and blessings!
