Be Awesome Every Single Day

I purchased this stamp set recently and while going through my stamps looking for something else, this sentiment caught my eye. It resonated with me because I have been reading some FB posts by my sister recently and I realized that she IS being awesome…every.single.day.

So I had to pop this in the mail to her and let her know how proud I am of her.

She has running a marathon on her bucket list and is in the last stages of preparing for it. Two weekends ago she ran 10 miles in the snow and ice and then after coming in and warming up, ran another 4 on the treadmill. The next weekend she ran 16 miles non-stop. I am so proud of her determination to reach her goal and she is a great reminder that we can do anything we set our minds to…we CAN be awesome every single day 🙂

This stamp set is called Oopsie Daisy by Papertrey and is a fabulous set. There are outlines of daisies and then individual stamps for the petals so you could make every petal different if you wanted to! I stuck with two for this project. I honestly just randomly stamped the paper and let the card develop on it’s own.  And of course, every inch of the sentiment is covered in Wink of Stella…so sparkly!! I also applied Wink of Stella liberally to most of the flowers. You can never have enough!

Hello and Happy Saturday! I hope everyone survived Black Friday!! I don’t really participate in Black Friday unless it’s from my computer but I did venture out to make one annual purchase at the best price of the year. I posted about it on my Facebook page if you want to pop over and check it out:)

While I was working on my previous card, one patterned paper caught my eye and sparked an idea for another card! I love when that happens! The muted butterflies in this paper made me think that it would be perfect to stamp on. So I inked up a new set from Mama Elephant.

Isn’t it adorable? I loved the floral print that I chose for the envelope liner and decided to incorporate some of those colors onto the card. The sentiment is stamped in Bermuda Bay, the shooting stars in Calypso Coral, and the mini stars in Summer Starfruit. Bright happy birthday colors!

I added a sweet sentiment to the inside.

Did you notice how the shooting stars pop off the page?

I added a very liberal dosage of Wink of Stella to the sentiment and all of the stars. I think I’m in love with Wink of Stella. I had better stock up!! lol

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I had a very enjoyable day with my family and got two trees set up and one decorated! Operation Christmas Decoration is in full swing at my house and will be done very soon, I love seeing all the sparkly things!!

Have a wonderful day, I hope it is full of merry cheer as we transition from Thanksgiving into Christmas! It’s going to be a blast!
