Fall Leaves – Sunday Stamps 112

Happy Sunday and welcome to another challenge from the Sunday Stamps design team!

SS112-10_17_15I love challenges like this where I have an opportunity to really showcase a product. For this challenge, I chose to feature the Lighthearted Leaves Stamp and Die bundle from Stampin’ Up!:

Fall Leaves - Sunday Stamps 112This leaf image is a show stopper so I kept the rest of the card design very clean with just a hint of Mossy Meadow cardstock peeking out to highlight the stamp. The coordinating dies make die cutting the leaves a breeze!

Fall Leaves - Sunday Stamps 112ShinHan Twin Touch Brush Markers add color to the stamps, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink is the perfect ink to use with alcohol markers-no smearing! Then just the small detail of a bit of Mossy Meadow Thick Twine (retired) for texture.

My card happens to work perfectly with The Paper Players challenge this week so I’ve entered it there as well! Sometimes things just work out perfectly!!

pp267I hope you have a moment to enjoy the creations by the rest of the Sunday Stamps design team. I’ve had a peek and they are super fun!

I love hearing from you! You can reach me here with any questions or comments.

Wishing you joy and blessings!

Time to Celebrate – Sunday Stamps 111

Hello there! Before I jump in to today’s post, I would like to apologize to all my blog update subscribers. I had a programming glitch with this past Thursday’s post and it was sent out multiple times. The company I use for all things blog related jumped on the problem and patched it right up. So if you are a blogger, or are thinking of becoming a blogger, I would recommend Integrant Services for all of your blog needs. They are very knowledgeable and helpful and even specialize in the paper crafting realm! And now back to today’s post…

It’s Sunday and time for another challenge from Sunday Stamps! This challenge is a beautiful neutral color combination from the very talented Holly Endress:

Time to Celebrate - Sunday Stamps 111I went with a masculine theme for my project:

Time to Celebrate - Sunday Stamps 111I saw a card on Pinterest that had a few different pieces of patterned paper and was inspired to challenge myself to use four different patterned papers but still leave a lot of white space for a clean, uncluttered look. This stamp set was fun to work with, using my MISTI to stamp all the individual pieces of the clock face and the hands. It’s five o’clock somewhere!

Time to Celebrate - Sunday Stamps 111I layered the clock face onto two layers of cardstock to give it a bit more presence on the card and this wonderful label sentiment finished things up perfectly!

I was amazed by all the different takes on the sketch this week by the Sunday Stamps design team. They did a fantastic job so please stop by and show them some love!

Wishing you joy and blessings!

Feeling Like Fall – Sunday Stamps 110

Feeling Like Fall - Sunday Stamps 110We’ve had a few cooler days lately, and that combined with Friday night football games, has me feeling like Fall! So I broke out a new to me pad of paper that I have been saving for the occasion and started creating!

My jumping off point was this delightful sketch from Sunday Stamps:

Feeling Like Fall - Sunday Stamps 110I enjoyed mixing colors on this card and perhaps took a few liberties with Fall leaf colors!

Feeling Like Fall - Sunday Stamps 110I hope you will pop over and gather inspiration from the rest of the Sunday Stamps design team! We would love to see you play along with us!

A side note: My posts have been fewer lately as I have been busy painting another room in my house and then moving my creative space into the new room. It has a bit less square footage but oodles more sunlight! It will take me a bit to get everything reorganized but I look forward to sharing my new space with you!

Wishing you joy and blessings!

Noted – Sunday Stamps 109

It’s Sunday again and time for another fun challenge from the Sunday Stamps design team…

Noted - Sunday Stamps 109Aren’t the colors amazing? In Stampin’ Up! colors, the colors are Island Indigo, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight and Very Vanilla.

Noted - Sunday Stamps 109I kept true to the colors, choosing to repeat one design element. The colors from top to bottom are: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, and then Crushed Curry.

All of the images on my card today are from the ‘Noted’ stamp set. It also has a coordinating die for the ‘hello’ sentiment.I just used the die for my focal point, and layered it four times.

Noted - Sunday Stamps 109I then applied Crystal Effects to the top of the word and let it dry. Now it has a nice shiny finish to help it pop off the busy pattern underneath. I dug around and found three coordinating sequins to finish my card off.

This sentiment, ‘hello, how are you?’ had me humming a tune from the 70’s all day. It was driving me batty because I couldn’t remember any more of the words, just the melody. Finally, last night I went searching for it on my phone and discovered the song was “Telephone Line” by ELO. Yep, that goes way back…anyone but me remember it?

I digress…I hope you have enjoyed my simple inspiration today. It would be awesome if you would stop by and see the inspiration from the Sunday Stamps talented design and perhaps play along!

Wishing you joy and blessings!
