Thinking of Mom…

Mr. Brown brought me a package on Friday!! I’ve been busily working on my to-do list and though it is not quite complete, I thought it was time to play a bit with my new toys. What do you think??

All of these are products from the new Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog which goes live today! The paper is from a set called Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper and the stamp set is called Mother’s Love. The stamp set is actually a builder set, there are images to fill in both the flowers and the leaves, but for this card I chose to leave it at just the outline stamp. I absolutely love this set, my favorite in the catalog!! The sketch-y look is perfect and something I could never achieve on my own…I can’t even draw a decent stick figure! There, now you know my secret…don’t tell, okay?

This is a simple card so I will let the pictures say it all. Do you see the difference in shading on the sentiment? It’s not bad stamping, it’s the stamp itself…I LOVE it!!

And now the inside:

Simple. Simple. Simple.

Love.

I am a hobby demonstrator (I do not sell the product itself or have classes), but if you are interested in seeing the catalog or purchasing any of the products, please visit Stampin’ Pretty. Mary Fish is my upline and the most talented lady I know. She will take good care of you.

I did want to share a wonderful new tool I gave to myself for Christmas called the MISTI. That stands for the (and I quote) “Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented”. I took her word for it and ordered it. After just one use, I concur and endorse this product completely. It will forever change the way you stamp. Just watch the video and order one.

It’s back to work for me! I have soooo enjoyed the holidays and am very rested and ready to get back in the swing of things! I hope you are as well, Mondays have a way of coming whether we want them to or not!!

Wishing you joy and blessings today and always!

Hi Shannon. I found your blog from PTI and it happened to be your card where you talk about MISTI. I just bought it and am at the My Sweet Petunia You Tube Channel checking out the videos. That thing is unbelievable! Ileana is a genius for inventing it. Wow. So, you just cost me a chunk of money this morning 🙂 You also make very beautiful cards too and are an inspiration. I’m so glad I clicked on your card, even if you did cost me $$. Have a great day and I’ll be stalking you! Hugs and blessings!

Shannon, I just love this card! How did I miss this set in the new catalog? Maybe I told myself to only look at what I need right away. It is sweet, delicate and just seems so sincere.

Now about the MISTI ~ oh man I have looked at it several times. It’s on backorder and I’m ready to hit click the submit button, even with the price (ouch!) Tell me again it’s worth it and to take the plunge…I’ll believe ya!
