I’m SO excited to be back with you today with a new Tic Tac Toe Challenge! This week’s board was designed by yours truly. Funny story: As I was looking at this board to figure out what I was going to make, I said to my husband, “How on earth would anyone put fruit and bicycle together on one card?” I CRACKED myself up later that evening when I realized that “I” had created the board :):):).
That said, anyone who manages it will receive a wonderful surprise from me!
I myself chose the bottom row: Summer, Bird and Sparkle:
Details:
This gorgeous pattern paper from Bird Ballad set the tone for the whole card. I pulled out Mint Macaron and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends to mix with Petal Pink and started coloring. I couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out:
I happened to have the Stitched Nested Dies out on my desk from my previous challenge card so I went ahead and used them again to frame these pretty birds. I pulled out this delicate Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon, wrapped it around the pretty DSP and added a few tails off to the side. I adore these darling moonstones from Simon Says Stamp. I’m always so delighted with the touch of elegance they add to a card 🙂
I was so in love with all of the images in this stamp set and with the gorgeous colors, so I couldn’t stop coloring! I added flowers to the inside as well as to the envelope!
Summer – check
Bird – check
Sparkle – check
I would truly love to see how YOU interpret the challenge board this week – I hope to see you in the gallery!

Such a sweet card today Shannon. Your coloring is soft and delightful. A very nice interpretation of the challenge.
Sharon, thank you! I’m so glad you like it! Xx
Shannon, what do you mean by the term Embedded Die? I’m not familiar with that term. Thanks!
Karen, here is a link to a card where I used the technique. The word die and the flower stem are “embedded”, meaning they are within the panel rather than raised above. I hope that helps!https://shannonkaypaperie.com/sunshine-sayings-pals-paper-arts-305/
Shannon I’m glad it’s not just me that thought that when looking at this week’s board! I struggled with this one but got there eventually and loved the results! Love your card too; those birds are so sweet and I love the stitched layers that add beautiful detail, as does that pretty ribbon. A gorgeous card for a fun challenge!
